Our Story
Assist Teignbridge is a Community Charity based in Dawlish, dedicated to improving the lives of individuals in Teignbridge through a variety of free community support services, including assistance claiming benefits entitlements, and paid for services including sitting and home care, home help, and nail trimming.
For over 20 years, we have been a trusted presence in the community, supporting older adults and carers across Dawlish, Teignmouth and Newton Abbot — known collectively as Teignbridge.
In 2024, our dedication was recognised with the prestigious King's Award for Voluntary Service — a testament to the extraordinary commitment of our volunteers and team.
